What exactly has been done to improve 12th Man TV?

When they started charging for 12th Man TV a year or two ago, we were told that the money was needed to improve the product.
I popped on to see some basketball highlights and I am struggling to see how it has changed at all, let alone improve.
The picture quality is horrible. Its grainy, the color is off, and it generally looks like I am watching Raycom's SWC game of the week circa 1992. Considering I am watching on small 13" laptop this is quite disconcerting. I can't imagine how awful it would look if I mirrored my computer to my TV in the den.
You still have to use flash to watch anything which means any device running on iOS can't view the video. While I don't need to watch 12thManTV on my iPad or iPhone, I would really like the option. It's very strange to me that at this point they are running a web based video service that can't be used be the most popular phones and tablets in the country.
The format also seems to be exactly the same as it has been for years. While functional, its certainly not the most intuitive and is definitely ugly and limited.
I do not subscribe so perhaps I am missing something here. Are there any improvements at all or did they simply start charging b/c they knew enough people would pay for a substandard product?
PS - I'm C&Ping this over at TexAgs. I wonder if it gets deleted for being too critical of the school?

Did you pay your AggyArk (TM) premium membership fee?

I think the money went into production (at least I hope so) because the feed quality is awful. It's always been awful. The technology we use is just too outdated.
I heard Jason Cook say they are investing like $10m into the SEC Network setup. Lord knows they need to do so. But the best part about it is next year ESPN is taking over the digital rights as well so all the 12th man feeds will be on SEC3 or whatever the online product will be called. Supposedly it will mirror ESPN3 with a mobile app, etc.

I don't know what it looked like 2 years ago, but it looks pretty darn good to me right now. With the default 800x600 window the full game replays look just about perfect. Full screen is not so good, but that's not a surprise. Last year I had about the same results with secondemand.com (pay per game).
I think we've become spoiled with HD TV!
