I can only see our bowl "ceiling" as the Cotton and that may not even be possible but who do we need to win/lose to make that happen?

TAMU needs to win out.

Auburn needs to lose to Bama.

SCAR needs to lose to Clemson and Bama in the SECCG.

Mizzou needs to lose out.

So what puts us in Chik Fila bowl? That's what I'm pulling for

Wanna play Duke?

I wouldn't mind that.

I dunno.

SCAR beats Clemson, maybe? And LSU beat TAMU?

BCSNCG - Bama (13-0)
Sugar - Auburn (10-2)
Cap One - SCAR (10-3)
Cotton - TAMU (9-3)
Outback - Mizzou (9-3)
Chik-Fil-A - OM (9-3)
Gator - LSU (9-3)
Music City - UGA (8-4)
Liberty - Vandy (8-4)

We'd have to hope that the Chicken Bowl took us over an LSU team with the same record at that point. No guarantee even with the head-to-head win.

Seems possible.

I would be thrilled with the chicken bowl tho

I think this is the best case scenario for us.

This would put a 10-2 A&M or Auburn team in the Sugar with the other probably going to the Capital One.

Mizzou would be 9-3, and LSU would be 8-4. If we can manage to win out, that would leave us going to Cotton or Chik-fil-a, assuming we didn't get screwed over by the bowl committees.

Mizzou would be 9-3, but yeah basically.

You're right, not sure where I got 8-4 from.

I'll root against state and LSU everytime they play. Don't care what it does for us, I want them to lose. You control your own destiny...

I'm doing a lot of business in Jacksonville. I'm actually in JAX right now. I am rooting for the scenario that gets us to the Gator. I'll make it a major production. I can get luxury box seats, the whole deal.

As long as we play in the chicken or any bowl in Florida Idc. Don't really have the time or money to go to a bowl in Texas. Got family all in Florida and I'm from Georgia so that would be perfect.

Geez I didn't even think about it until just now, but I JUST moved back to MS from Fort Worth. I got plenty of friends to crash with if we go to the Cotton!

What sucks, though, is that I JUST MOVED BACK FROM FORT WORTH. I could literally have had a 10 minute drive to Jerry World for that bowl game. Haha

I just see a 0% chance we end up in the Cotton.

That's just not true.

If everything happens like I said in my first post in here, who would get the Cotton ahead of us?
