Saw this on PM
This game will be won on the line, and it will be won by Missouri, but will close. A lot will have to do with line play.
The Tigers total sack number on the season is obviously tops in the SEC, even with one fewer game than many teams. But, did you know, when you remove Missouri's non-con sack total (8) Missouri is SECOND in the SEC only to Georgia when all other teams are allowed their season total.
Put another way, in Missouri's 6 games against the best O-lines in the country, they are second in the SEC when compared to all other teams TOTAL sacks. As in 10 - or even 11 - games total sacks.
In SEC play, Mizzou is averaging 4.333 sacks per game.
On the other side of the football, Ole Miss is fourth worst in the SEC in sacks allowed on the season (which includes giving up 3 sacks to SEMO).
In SEC play, Ole Miss is giving up 3.00 sacks a game.
Ole Miss is middle of the road defensively at 49th in the nation. They'll need to score 35/40+ to beat the Tigers this weekend. Bo Wallace won't be on his feet enough to make that happen.
Mizzou opens up as 3 point favorites. Any thoughts before the real in depth preview? Lol

No sir I did not want to take the thunder from whoever wanted to do the preview I was merely doing the preview to the preview lol.
No mistake it will be a close game. Ole miss is having senior night and they have looked better as of late but the numbers also do not lie! Go tigers!

BTW - was this behind a pay wall on PM? If so, I would ask you to paraphrase it. We don't allow material from pay sites to be copied and posted here, it would get the site into trouble. If you want to share something from behind a pay wall, put it in your own words. Thanks.

Damn. That's impressive. If those numbers hold true this weekend, it could be a very good day for Mizzou.

I think I've heard "yes ma'am" more in these past few weeks since I moved to the deep south than I've heard in the past 5 years.

BLUF: Mizzou wins by 2 touchdowns

I think it really comes down to Franklin. Either we have to run well enough Franklin doesn't matter or he has to play well to win. If we get good play from Franklin, it will be hard for Mizzou to lose.

If we play bad we win by only 14.

Big game for Mizzou to prove their strength! Should shut the naysayers down. BTW, who cares what anyone thinks, as long as Mizzou keeps winning!
