Not necessarily.

A 1 loss AU could potentially jump OSU. AU will be #1 or #2 in ALL the computers. And if the 2 and 3 spot are close in the human polls, which they probably would be, all bets are off.

I just cannot see a 1-loss team jumping an undefeated major conference team like tOSU. Keep in mind they play a marquee title game against MSU as well. I think the media reaction will be "Bama isn't as good as believed" and they would believe tOSU could beat them as well and keep them in front.

Since the BCS formula was changed, the top two teams in the polls have always ended up in the BCSNCG.

An undefeated Ohio State would not get passed up for a 1-loss team.

Geez. An undefeated SEC Champ Auburn wasn't even invited to the dance. AU will have 2 losses anyway.

I don't think it'll happen only because of the SEC fatigue among voters + it will give the voters an "out" for not voting for a 1 loss SEC team.

Only way a 1 loss SEC team gets in is if they win the SECCG and 2 of the 3 unbeaten lose a game.
