I honestly don't know. The rule is so damn subjective that it's ridiculous.
That play certainly looks like the type of play they want to eliminate. So did the hit last week by LSU on Kevin Norwood. Neither were called despite being clearly seen. Then there are examples of light contact being flagged against UGA.
Just a ridiculous situation.

This right here. Not only subjective but unfair. There have been a few blocks on defenders who are far less prepared than receivers or returners. No idea why you can block the frick out of someone as high as you want but you can't tackle someone trying to make a play.
This rule has gotta go.
