I refuse to pick one or the other but this is the stuff that has to be addressed. All of you "he played one fewer year" crowd do realize the vastly significant higher number of carries Herschel had over Bo right regardless of how many years each of them were at their school.

If anyone can produce a reputable all time college football player ranking that has Bo ranked better than Herschel I'd love to see i
Of course Herschel is ranked higher his numbers are vastly superior for the reason stated above. However, it's the same logic that would rank a player like Tim Tebow over Cam Newton though it's plainly obvious who the better player is/was.
I'd pretty much sum it up like this. If I had to pick a RB for one game I'd go with Bo, for an entire season I'd go with Herschel.

The point is...BO Jackson was not a better player. BO Jackson could not have done what Walker did at UGA. I don't think I can state that any more clearly. 33-3 and carried the team on his back. Bo was an outstanding RB but we are talking durability, longetivity, will, skill, the entire point of the post. Walker was and will always be the best RB of all time. Anyone can throw up stats and have a debate but when you look at UGA before they landed Walker and after you will see what I mean when I say he literally carried the team to a SHIP as a freshman and his will alone won us a ton of games.
