I was a sophomore at Alabama wen it happened. He walked out on Alabama. He so much as lied to players on he plane ride from Honolulu.
But we should have known he was looking for an out. His name was attached to Kansas the year before. The sanctions were tougher than anticipated and he didn't think he could make it with a short deck.

This doesn't surprise me, all the accounts from former A&M players tell the story of a lousy human being.
