Would they be in front of FSU or behind them at the moment?

In addition...blindy looking at the avg SOS for 4 teams, how would you rank them knowing they are all undefeated?

Team A: SOS of 50.2
Team B: SOS of 39.0
Team C: SOS of 34.6
Team D: SOS of 70.0

Can't do the eye test blindly. I say Bama # 1 - they look good.

If Auburn was undefeated, right now, they would be ranked #3. However, even if they were #4 or #5, for some stupid reason, they would still end up playing for the National Championship if they ended the season undefeated. Wins over #25 Georgia, #1 Alabama, and top 10 South Carolina or Mizzou would push them over the top.

All IMO, of course.

It would be a close vote for the 2nd and 3rd slots. Unsure voters would have them ahead of FSU only because FSU started the season ranked higher than Auburn.

I think if Alabama had beaten LSU earlier in the season and Auburn had beaten LSU last weekend, then there is a chance they might have jumped FSU for the 2nd spot

I'll bite,
C
B
A
D,
Though I would like a little more information than just the raw "SOS of 50.2" etc. numbers, like what is the total W/L record of their opponents, and of their opponents' opponents.
Not really sure I understand how those fancy computers and mathematicians come up with their SOS numbers.
