What say Mizzou fans?

LINK

Lot of season left, but hard to argue with at this point.

I don't like this stuff coming out now.

If the Tigers win out I don't see how anyone couldn't give it to him.

I'd say he's as deserving as anyone at this point. It all depends on how we finish though.

In the past, it seems Mizzou tended to read newspaper clippings. I'd just as soon any accolades wait until after the season.

Having said that, yes, he should be in the running. I wanted him fired last year and I was wrong. Happy for him because I have been a fan up until last year. Really didn't think he had it in him to take the next step.

Not to be a debbie downer, but he hasn't take that step just yet. Let's just see how we finish. If we win out and end up in Atlanta...then we can have this discussion.

For me, the next step was competing in the SEC. After last year, I didn't think his approach on recruiting could translate into the SEC. For me, that was the next step. Now that he's shown he can compete, I want him to show he can win...as in win some hardware.

Definitely in the running.

Although....Auburn was winless last year in the SEC and now in the running in the West. Would have to think GP and Malzahn are in the top 3 or 4 in the country. But agree, a lot yet to prove!

Ya I have the feeling Malzahn is going to get it regardless of what Mizzou does, short of beating Alabama.

Auburn did not win an SEC game last year, none, zero, zilch, nada, zip.

Doesn't matter.
Pinkel will pass Faurot's record this year (against Bama or our Bowl). This is a season we will talk about for decades.

Indeed, let's talk a month from now... I'll have stronger opinions on the subject then. Either way he's done a great job pulling the program back in the right direction.

i go back and forth between he and Gus for COY, but no doubt, Pinkel has done a fantastic job this season. Very deserving for sure.

Their is someone who frequently downvotes all the posts in random threads on the Bama Board. Perhaps he has followed me over here.
