Yea it's not published in the fricking papers. I had a class with Sterling Bailey and talked in a presentation about $100 handshakes after games. It's stuff that doesn't get out that happens at every school. Players getting to lease cars for insane discounts (like $1 a month), finding cash in their wallet's after games, etc...

And in case you're that clueless, Herschel didn't just happen to find his Trans Am.

The dealerships do this based on the players NFL opportunities. It's not illegal. They also pay with their left over grant money. You really think Coach Richt would allow that?

Good lord,this gets brought a million times on here. what's the proof that someone gave him his car?You do know both his parents co-signed for it

I knew a few players back in the 80's and the only story I heard directly from a player was that
we gave Derrick Little (highly regarded DE from Clarke Central) 10K to sign and he kept the cash and signed with USC.
