With our best pass rusher out for the season and alot of youth/inexperience rotating on the D line, are you satisfied with the pressure we are getting on the QB? i know alot of times we are hitting him just after he passes, but it honestly looks like we run the exact same stunt 80% of the time...thoughts?

We've done okay considering how banged up we've been. Our LBs outside of Bryant have been disappointing

Very satisfied with the pressure our interior is getting. The ends leave a lot to be desired. I realize CJ was never 100% but it's not like he was blowing OTs up when he was playing this year. You can also see our DE ineffectiveness in the run game. It has gotten better with the Bryon Bennett move to the outside.

i agree the DE play has been a bit lacking and bennett has been a good transition..i talked to him after the game saturday and he said he was loving the change and with gross being explosive as always off the line and hooks finally looking like he is adjusting to the level of competition in the SEC we needed bennett to anchor down the outside..although mizzou killed us with simple sweeps

I know you meant Arkansas but on those sweeps Marry and Denzel took fricking miserable angles. The DL got worked up the middle not the outside.

The team isn't getting sacks. A lot of that is because of the scheme. I love it. We don't have very many bodies left on defense. So instead of blitzing like crazy leaving DJ and Bobby Hill on islands we are keeping safeties over top. Its basically saying you are either going to run over us, or nickel and dime us all the way down the field. We aren't giving up the big play.

Just think how many times this year have you seen a pass against us for more than 25 yards. It just rarely happens because of the scheme.

We are keeping everything in front of us and have physical CBs that make tackles.

We held aTm and Bama to their lowest totals this season... I'm satisfied with the way our Dline has played... We don't have a bunch of sacks in the stat column but we've gotten consistent pressure in CJ and Robert's absences... Our defensive staff makes incredible adjustments at the half too... Just hope we can keep Kiffin here two more years... Gonna have to open the check book for him, Freeze and Wommack in January.
