Ole Miss sold out the beer at Legion Field before halftime. Pretty much all concessions were sold out.

I was the same way. I waited in line forever. By the time I got up there they told me all they had was water and nacho cheese. Went to beer stand after beer stand. None available. I was so pissed.

Ole Miss fans bring two things to a game - a 20-dollar bill and a copy of the ten commandments. And they don't break either one.

Ask the Cotton Bowl people how many $20s and Ten Commandments we broke the year we played Texas Tech! They had to take kegs from their side because we ran out before halftime.

Ole Miss should because we would bring more fans. LSU wouldn't bring as many because a lot of their fans would be disappointed.

Not like they go to the games anyways...

Ole Miss was given a survey after the bowl. They rated the city an A with great atmosphere. But gave the bowl itself a C- and said they would decline if offered again.

The bowl wasn't expecting that many people. They were far from prepared.

Best Bowl Game I ever went to was Ole Miss Texas Tech. The last cotton bowl played inside that stadium. Man, the fans were great, the city was awesome, the bowl was great, and the game HOLY CRAP what a game. I would love to go back to dallas

I went to Dallas when we played Oklahoma State in 2010. First time I have ever been there. I stayed like 4 days. Best time I've ever had. I'd love to go back.

Cotton Bowl against Texas Tech was amazing.

I also heard that we drank the hotel that all the alumni and fans stayed at out of whiskey that weekend.

LSU will get a better bowl. They are better than Ole Miss.

Ole miss because they will sell more tickets. LSU notorious poor travelers for bowls when fans are pissed/disappointed.

Whichever one the bowl in question thinks would make them more money. And that is what I hate about the bowls. Teams like Notre Dame that have no business even thinking about a BCS bowl stay in contention just because of their reputation. Watched the Pitt-ND game last night and it almost made me throw-up listening to how the 23rd ranked Notre Dame (and their over ranked at that) had to win to stay in BCS contention. If they were in the SEC they probably wouldn't even have a winning record.

If I was a Bama fan I might think that, but keep in mind for most of the rest of us it matters.
