I think we make the NIT. Thornwell is a beast and Carrera has improved a lot. I think we will see good improvement this year. Only thing I'm worried about is the new handcheck rule, we committed way to many penalties against USC-Aiken the other day.

I'm cautiously pessimistic... I think the future is bright, but I want to see them actually do good before I get my hopes up too high. Been burned before.

I figure if I look for a team around 15-16 wins anything above that would be icing. (I honestly don't watch enough college basketball outside of March to know what a realistic expectation for the year is...)

5 more wins than last year and I will be happy.

.500 and I'll be happy. Getting to the NIT would be great

I'm too old to have an opinion.

We're taking this stuff way too seriously.

Jim Morrison sucked btw ... died in a bath tub like a loser - drug overdose. What would he say about all of this. Wait, I know ...

Wow, I´m sick of doubt

... we must acquiesce to the Internet doubters.

I will. I'll just have to be in the right mood when I start because it evokes some bad memories of some very bad people. But I will, one day, maybe between the SECCG and the Bowl Game when things are kind of slow.

Just a heads up, I may edit them to add background music and pictures to make the stories flow.

Just throwing it out there, but I could make a youtube video if SCRooster just wants to send me the audio file of him talking about the Board Wars. I'll add in the music, pictures and video.

Fade in...

Scrooster sitting in his rocking chair on the front porch... blade of grass hanging from his mouth and a mint julip in hand...

"Sit down sonny and I'll spin you the tale of the great Board Wars that left families in tatters and reshaped the internets forever..."

Banjo music...

Thornwell and Duane Notice will both be critical to the teams success. Like most, I think we go about .500 this year, but the future is very bright. I have seen Thornwell play since the 8th grade, and the kid is a flat out gamer. He used to dominate the varsity players at Lancaster High when he was in the 8th and 9th grade, and before he went to Oak Hill, he was the best player in the whole state as a 10th/11th grader. We will have some growing pains this year, but the sky is the limit with these freshman and their careers here. Should be a nice foundation for the next few years.

Until these stories are actually posted, I'm going to have a hard time believing something on the internet is this serious.

Women will go farther this year than the men.

Well that's a given. Women will actually make it to the tourney and should win some games. Men will be lucky to make the NIT.
