I know four who went to Vandy,
well US News has Vandy at 16, and Bama at 21.

But maybe I can figure out some way to spin Bama as the better law school

Have you tried scouring every single statistic, finding one where Bama is marginally better than Vandy, then acting like that's the only important statistic? Or, have you tried laughing at US News and World Report from your OFFICE that you TOTALLY HAVE?

Have you missed the multiple times this board has gone over how US News calculates its rankings in great detail and how they have been shown to be garbage when really trying to value a degree?

If so, it has been done in detail. The low acceptance numbers for bama are actually a bad thing and soley due to so many unqualified dumbasses applying at bama (often after other schools have already rejected them). And that is actually a major factor in US News rankings along with a lot of other fluff garbage they use. Again, their rankings have been torn apart on this board about a dozen times over the years and shown to be a poor evaluation of the ultimate quality and monetary value of a degree from a university.

No offense, but Bama at 21 is CRAZY. Bama should put on a clinic for how they're doing this. Vandy probably places 3x as many students in big time jobs (hard to rely on any school's job data, anymore) and produces 3 or 4x as many federal court clerks. And they're only 5 spots ahead?

Whatever Bama is doing is clearly working, I just don't know how they (USNWR) justify it.
