Not that I have seen. I think its good for sports, but I always disagreed when coaches would pray about a win before games like God doesn't have anything better to do than give us a win. If he gives us a win, the other team has to lose, so what if they prey before games too? Does that mean its whoever prays the best? Im just not convinced that God cares about Football.

But you know...as long as I played football, I never heard a coach pray for a win. I HAVE heard coaches, or players pray that both teams display good character and ask God to protect both teams from injury.

I played for one of the biggest Christian coaches in the state (Georgia) in high school. He is also considered one of the most successful, and won more games at a certain age than any other coach.
Won several national Championships (USA Today) and multiple state championships. Unfortunately he died at a relatively young age of a heart attack. But he lived his faith. I remember one kid got kicked out of his house by an alcoholic father and the coach took him into his home to live.
