Not a troll job, sunshine pumper. Me and my stacks believe this. Need a good LR man running the show up there, since we built the University to what it is today and have let the NWA folks frick it up.

He has hired Anderson, Petrino, Beliema....he has also made hires for softball, who has done a complete turn around and have made the Ncaa's two years in a row....made a great women's soccer hire, who were ranked in the top 25 this year for the first time ever....he made a volleyball hire that was awesome and they're having their best season ever....gymnastics is always good...
The new football facility has been erected and moved into....the baseball facility is about 1/4 done....the north end zone enclosure has money secured for it and will start in less than two years...the basketball facility will be built by the end of 2015...

Let's go back two years for a second to a time when we were a one loss team and barely escaped with wins over Vandy and Ole Miss due to defensive problems.
If I were to tell you we could hire Partridge and Randy Shannon and Ash you would have said "Those are the type of people we need as defensive assistants. Fire Willy!". And you would have been right. Don't complain about our staff and the salary we are paying them when objectively you would have cheered the hires while we were in our good seasons. Obviously in season it looks like we are struggling as an organization. But you can't back track and blame someone when the decisions that were made seemed like the right ones before the results are showing.
Do you want all the staff fired mid season? How many great coaches do you think would line up to be assistants and head coaches when we throw the whole thing out midway through the first season?
Who would you hire as AD if you could right now? What would they do different to make us better?

HawgAlude doesn't like Jeff Long regardless ...because he's a yankee. 
I'm not a big fan of Long but I'm not wanting to get rid of him. And if I did, it wouldn't be because he's a yankee. I guess I'm kinda indifferent toward Long. I don't think the Bielema hire was a bad hire but I do think he held on to Pelphrey too long and I thought Pelphrey was a pretty good guy. Speaking of which, within reason, I don't care if a coach is necessarily a good guy or an a-hole, I just want them to be very dedicated, competent, and competitive as a coach.
Within reason, it's also a big plus if they can manage themselves in a way that isn't an embarrassment to themselves or anyone else for that matter. Being an a-hole is somewhat acceptable IMO. Being stupid isn't.
If Jeff Long leaves, we'll be fine if we find a competent AD. I'd prefer someone who's not interviewing every year or sending out resumes every year looking for a "better" job.
