I'll only accept the Cotton if we get Texas

I'm confused why so many folks think Ole Miss is headed to the Compass Bowl for the second year in a row. The Rebs are 5-3 with four games left...Arkansas at home, Troy at home, Mizzou at home and Miss. St. in Starkville. The Rebs should probably win 3 of those remaining games which would put them at 8-4 on the regular season. No way they end up in Birmingham with an 8 win season. Hell, No way they end up in Birmingham with a 7 win season and heaven forbid, if they end up with a 6 win season, they'll be in Memphis for the Liberty.

Swap USC and Auburn and you're close.

Of the "crappier" SEC bowls, I actually would be fine with UF playing in NSH.

The Aggies would curb stomp the Longhorns. Would be a great thing, no? It would send Evans and Manziel out on a very high note.

Sugar: South Carolina

Not if Oregon, Ohio St, and Florida State take loses prior to the SECCG.

quote:Not true, if USC wins out, TAMU loses to LSU, Mizzou loses to TAMU, Auburn loses to Alabama, and LSU loses to Alabama then USC would be 2nd highest ranked SEC team (behind Bama) which would give USC an at large bid.
The only way USC makes it to the Sugar Bowl is by winning the SECCG.

It just the second highest sec team I believe. You must have the ranking qualifier as well. I believe.
