Not even close to correct.

1993 was not even close to Stallings best team, 1992, 1994, and 1991 were all better.

Alabama had already tied Tennessee two weeks previously and was already on the ropes in the national title race.

It was still a major upset as Alabama hadn't been beaten in 31 games and LSU was pretty awful that year.

But the MSU game in 1980 was a bigger upset.

I'll agree with this simply because anytime State knocks off a #1 Bama team it's a huge upset.

But State did win 9 games that year so it was hardly a bad State team.

John Bond had quite a few memorable moments at MSU.

The Day Pigs Flew is literally the only day worth remembering of Curley Hallman's entire career at LSU.
