I really am EOD- got out of the olive drab circus though and now do the civilian version of it (UXO)
The pay is light years better, I get to sleep in a real bed every night and eat hot food, and nobody is shooting at me or trying to detonate an IED under my arse.
Semper Fi.

Not fantasizing at all- just stating a possible outcome of the season. And if it does happen, remember you heard it here first. (And oh yes it is possible, you grumps saying otherwise are not being honest). ;-)

One score over AU and Mizzou would be considered good wins, a computer bump and they wouldn't drop at all, I wouldn't think.

No I have already heard it from my delusional Auburn Co-Workers after the tight win over A&M last Saturday. I have already heard every senerio for how Auburn is going to get in the MNC game this year and beat Orgeon again.

You better hope karma doesn't exist. If it does, then you are fricked for subjecting us to this shitty thread.

So the fantasy of certain Auburn fans isn't that they beat Bama, it's that they...play tough and keep an undefeated Bama out of the title game?

How about you? Military/EOD?
And thanks.
And thanks.

It's possible, but unlikely in the extreme. The computers aren't allowed to take margin of victory into account, and the voters aren't going to drop the undefeated two-time defending national champion for beating a slate of 3 ranked teams in a month (LSU, Auburn, Missouri.) The tendency to give them the benefit of the doubt with those credentials will be too pronounced.

Alabama in 2004 was a hot mess. That is why a close win hurt Auburn. Unless Auburn loses out they will be a top 25 team. A close win for Bama wouldn't be near as bad.

That's if 2 of these 3 teams are even still ranked when Bama plays them.

So this is what happens when your team starts winning.
