4 star DL Kentavius Street to visit Ole Miss this weekend

Rated 33rd overall in ESPN 300. Offers from Florida, Georgia, LSU, Tennesee, Florida state, and a few others. Kind of sucks the only weekend we could fit him in is Idaho. Would be a huge get for Freeze in giving us more depth on the DLine.

A lot of schools think he's peaked physically. He doesn't suck, but people question his upside.

He's a tweener. We are recruiting him as a DT. Us bringing him in for Idaho doesnt bode well for either his or our interest in one another

Yeah. It's just weird to see a 5-star (on some sites, I think, unless that changed recently) who only NC State really wants

Well, I trust Freeze and who he recruits more than I trust recruiting rankings. If we sign him, then Freeze must see something in him.

LSU likes him a lot and they are working hard to get him in on a visit. I don't think he's not coveted I think he might just be the type of kid that wants to stay home

I actually think a tweener would be a better fit in Freeze's system than most, if he's athletically gifted enough.

He tried to commit to UGA twice in the spring and the tried to commit to FSU. Turned down obviously.

You people need to stop posting what you think is true.... Kentavius Street has been offered by 20 schools. He has not tried to commit to any of them. If he had, he would have definately been accepted. He has not been turned away by anyone. He does not have any character issues, In fact, He is a model student at his high school. He is still getting tons of mail from the schools who want him.
He has decided to focus on his team having a winning season and will not commit until Feb 3, which is his mother's birthday.

I dont think so sir... Are you there answering his phone calls or mail or anything else. The schools that arent recruiting him have been turned away by him, not the other way around. check your facts sir....

My information comes from UGA and national recruiting media.
I never insinuated that Kentavius has character issues. UGA has limited spots, and it has been widely reported that he is not in UGA's plans.

What exactly happened with UGA then? He did an interview with 247 (pretty sure it was 247, and i'm way too lazy to dig it up) in the spring, naming UGA his leader and saying that he was going to take a visit a couple weeks later. He even said that there was a decent chance he would commit on the visit. About a week later, he did another interview where he said that visit was canceled and he was no longer considering UGA.
Seems strange, does it not?
