That is pretty ridiculous but logically it makes sense. Our DLine and LB play hasn't been too bad this year because on most plays they are just pass rushing/run blitzing. That isn't the case for the secondary where they can play man, zone, or blitz (probably 10-15 different coverage types for each). Don't know if anyone watched the UNC - Miami game last night but UNC was starting a ton of freshman and walk-ons in their 2 deep and were playing very fundamental football. Pollack mentioned that their DC really dumbed down the playbook for them and it was working.
