I agree it's a bad example, because it's baseball, but you get the point.

The 2007 Patriots are probably one of the greatest teams in NFL history, if not the greatest.

But they didn't win the Super Bowl.

Does 1 fluke catch made against them really determine whether or not they were great?

People are too hung up on final results.

I understand what you're saying. However, the logic you're using to justify putting the 1998 Tennessee team so low is insane.
