It seems Bama, despite having the best coaching and talent in the nation, is somehow being overlooked by the media. Most topics on point actually discuss the SEC rein coming to an end this year.

Dunno, but they have since the TAMU game. The ongoing narrative is that Bama isn't as good as the past few years. I hope they keep thinking that. This team is coming together. I actually wouldn't mind Oregon jumping us and Bama falling to #2.

Lackluster start. I guess they haven't seen our Oline begin to gel with 2 new starters, Lindsay at center and Grant Hill at guard. I guess they haven't seen our secondary get better and better as Eddie Jackson, Landon Collins, Jarrick Williams, Slyve and Geno Smith have all come on strong since the TAMU game. Soon we will have HaHa back. White has been tearing it up at WR in a already deep WR corps. Ashawn Robinson tearing it up at the center of our DLine. I like the idea of sleeper, we are a sleeping Monster indeed that is about 2 weeks away from firing on all cylinders.

Alabama fatigue. People are hyping other teams makes for more interesting tv / articles at this point. Alabama does have almost all the number 1 votes in the polls, so they aren't being overlooked by the "media" when they have to actually give the opinion that matters.
Plus, Alabama hasn't exactly looked unbeatable this year so there is probably some truth to the possibility that the SEC doesn't win it all this year.

They are not sleeping on Bama, what game have they played besides A&M that anybody would give two shits about? Please don't say Ole Miss, when the LSU game comes up people will have an interest. It's a two game season for Bama, if they get by LSU then you can add at least another game that is worth getting excited about. I am not bitching about their schedule just stating the facts surrounding the question.
