One of my best friends is an Auburn grad, who is coming to the game. She's in law school in Oklahoma with another Auburn buddy of mine. I expect to have lots of Auburn folks at my tailgate. Granted, they are both Texas transplants, but Auburn folks in general are really good people. I think the rant version is the most gump-like and delusional of the Auburn family.

The difference....A&M runs how many OL out there? Auburn consistently runs 8-9 DL in and out of the game.
Should give you plenty of bodies to lay down on the field to slow the offense.

Oh I know, the few Auburn people I know in person are completely fine
And being over confident is fine, I just think its ill advised

Oh lawd.
Tell 'em a story about Larry Jackson, Ags.
You don't understand. Our entire OL will play in the league, and it will be us who dictates the pace, which will be faster than anything you've seen this year--especially in the 4th quarter (assuming we don't pull the starters one possession into the second half again).
I'm sure your DL is good. But you're playing against the best OL and QB combo in college football history.
Grow up, Peter Pan.

And A&M hasn't done shite in the SEC yet. So who exactly is delusional?

Stopped reading there. Don't act like you know anything about odds.

In what way?
You responded to my post that says "auburn probably has the best d-line yall have this year" Which is true and was in response to multiple A&M fans saying that yall have the best o-line we've played all year.
Or are we delusional for recognizing that A&M has possibly the worst D in the SEC and that this game will be a shoot out.
Where is the delusion? Could you point it out?

I found it in the OP.

AU should have no problem running the ball.
Containing JM will likely be the only issue.
AU 33
TAMU 24
Holding this A&M offense to 24. That's the delusion.

If we win by anything less than 14 I'm going to punch a baby.

We heard the same thing about Oregon in 2010/2011.
I think this game surprises people and is relatively low scoring.

Don't ever trust the team icon lol
Garrison tho is probably the master of generating this kind of debate

I've said that the line (12-14) is about right, and never said it wouldn't be a shootout....or that it WOULD be a blowout.
Literally no one has slowed down JFF or our offense since LSU last year...when we turned it over what, 5 times? And Johnny was in game 5 or 6?
So do all of the X's and O's analysis you want, but you aren't holding us under 40 points. It just isn't going to happen.
Yes, our D is bad, but they are also showing flashes of improvement each week. All we need is for them to go from "very bad" to "slightly below average", and that is more than enough, with this offense.
COULD you win? Sure....Look at Stanford @ Utah, or the random upsets that occur every season in CFB. I just think PREDICTING a win (which 3/4 of you appear to be doing) borders on delusion. I'd say the same thing if the majority of A&M fans were PREDICTING a win over LSU. Saying it could happen vs will happen are two different things.

So the 2010 Oregon team that put up 42 points on Nick Saban after he had all off season to prepare? I'm glad your national championship team 4 years ago is your justification for holding A&M to half of what Alabama did. Auburn needs to move to Georgia. Y'all are spending too much time around gumps and are starting to sound just like them.

I could easily see this being similar to AU-OU 2010 where it's a relatively low scoring game because both defenses will be well conditioned for the other team's offense
