As a fellow Minnesotan, that is hard to believe. Updyke and the BCS run has brought it into the spotlight. Otherwise it was OSU-Michigan, and Texas-Oklahoma. Then it was "oh, that's a rivalry, cool" to pretty much everything else. Now it is huge though.
