I haven't followed any Auburn players around trying to catch them committing some NCAA violation.

I haven't joined some shadowy organization committed to bringing down some imagined mortal enemy.

I haven't hired or donated to said shadowy cult to hire private investigators to bring down that mortal enemy.

I haven't called the NCAA or put together some packet of information and sent it to both the NCAA and Paul Finebaum to try and get the so called Evil Empire brought down.

Now NYC Ol' Bud, the NTY people have done all these things. You can not dispute this they are the facts.

Now who was that you said belongs in the loony bin?

About the author:

He started at The San Diego Union-Tribune in 2004. He previously worked
as a beat writer covering Auburn University football and basketball for
the Mobile Press-Register in Alabama.
Before that, he worked for the
Lubbock Avalanche-Journal in Texas, where he served as beat writer
covering the first two seasons at Texas Tech under Hall of Fame
basketball coach Bob Knight.

LMAO at anyone thinking this is breaking investigative journalism. Article may as well have come straight from the Failure to Yield website.

The article harps on Alabama getting preferential treatment and penalties overlooked by the NCAA and then goes on to cite a case where the NCAA broke its own by laws and one in which a former NCAA investigator involved in the case admitted that Alabama got screwed in the case. He also fails to acknowledge the late 90s basketball case where a violation was stopped by compliance and a booster yet the probation window was extended and the textbook case which was identical to Nebraska's case who received no penalties. Real objective journalism there.
