Yes he is visiting. To watch Florida play in a great environment

I think you might be right.

I assume y'all are recruiting him for cb?

To be honest, the coaches have told him he can play on offense or defense. We will have a more pressing need at CB next year with Purifoy and Roberson likely leaving, but he will end up playing whatever fits him the best, if he ends up at UF.

Yeah, he has never said LSU was his dream school or anything of that nature...

That is one of the most over stated lines in all of recruiting from prospects.

So y'all's side is pretty confident? How many times has he visited? And didn't he say he wouldn't official to any schools he's already been to?
Tiger Stadium can have a big influence on a recruit.. See Patrick Peterson

I know. That's why I brought it up. Not only is it overstated, but half the time the reporter baits the kid into using those words. If I wanted it to sound trolling or sarcastic, I would have used the

He said UT was his dream school a month ago - he plays the game with the best of them.

He was down for a couple of days a few weeks back.

Well from what I understand his parents will be with him. If that is the case I would think his interest in LSU is legit. Also Les has been known to charm the moms.

He's coming to see UF. Our only chance is to kick the shite out of UF. I don't see it happening. We win but Adoree is gonna be a gata.

I think most LSU fans see it like this. Maybe we can really wow him with the environment and a great game. I'd say there's a small chance he comes to LSU at this point and that he's using an OF to see Florida play.

It's a situation where we're in the running as a distant 2nd, 3rd, whatever - but an official visit can be game-changing, even though I don't think any of us really expect it to be.
I'm hopeful, but I expect him to sign elsewhere.

I don't understand why he's such a gator lock if he's only been there once and never to LSU..?

Nobody is saying he is a LOCK. That is ridiculous talk in recruiting.
He likes UF a lot because they are telling him that he can come in and compete immediately for a starting CB spot opposite Hargreaves, with Roberson and Purifoy both leaving after this year. He also has been told that with Patton and Burton leaving, he will have a chance to start on the offensive side of the ball, if he were to pick up the play book. We are selling him on his ability to be dynamic on both sides of the ball. I prefer him at WR just because we don't really have a "play maker" on that side of the ball, but with Cook and Adoree, that could change things instantly.

I imagine the LSU coaches are telling him much of the same, as we have a few great safety prospects on the board in Paris, Hootie, Devin Voorhies, and John Battle, but really only one great corner prospect projected to sign with us in Tony Brown. And with the way we throw young corners out there (our starting corners from here on out are both true freshmen) he could play early and often for LSU at corner too.
We also lose our dynamic return man in Beckham so he could contribute at punt and kick returner as well.
Let's see what he has to say after his visit this weekend
