Run defense worries me a little without Easley. Both UK and Arky had some success running right where Easley is missed.

Seems to me that our D (even last year) starts games overly amped up. They always give away yardage in the beginning of games.
Then they get chewed up on the sidelines by Boom, and get their act together.
Arky ran the ball well in the 1st half. They were shut down for the second half.

I hope they start LSU focused, because the game can get out of hand in a hurry. LSU has a potent O.

I think the LSU game can go either way. It is strength vs strength, and weakness vs weakness. It will be interesting to see how Murphy does in TS. That is the key for the game, and of course turnovers. I think our D will hold LSU to reasonable number in O, scoring in the twenties. We will need to score vs LSU at least like against Arky.

They are amped up, but the reason they give up chunks early is because they don't play their assignments. Only reason AR had any success running was because our DL weren't playing gap "sound" football. Hopefully they play better early against LSU.

Bullard looks good inside when he gets snaps there.
