Student Ticket Pull

I'm flying down for the Auburn game and my lady is joining me for her first trip to College Station. I'm starting to scan the interwebz and coming across some deals where students are offering to pull 2 tickets and sell them.
It's been a while since I was a student, but from what I remember, a non-student still had to pay extra to get a non-student sticker or something like that so they could get in. Is it still that way or have things changed? Should I avoid buying pulled student tickets and just deal with alumni and/or season ticket holders only?

Ya you still gotta pay to convert it.

If you know of somebody who looks remotely like y'all that still has their student ID, you could borrow their ID and use it to sneak in without paying the extra $$$ to convert it.
I still have my student ID, and I've used it twice this season to get into the student section. But yeah, otherwise I would probably try to find tickets from alumni or stubhub, etc

I have my student ID from my senior year in 1992...wonder if it would work?

Are you sitting in the student section because you want her to experience it? I would just buy a ticket in the zone or alumni side.

My friends have season tickets in 146 and we tailgate right across the street from Gate 1 in Spence Park. So I'm looking to get tickets for us nearby, but sections 145/144 to be a little closer to midfield.
Usually I buy my buddy's wife's season ticket and she stays at tailgate with some of the others, but that's only when I go by myself. Hence, why I'm trying to find 2 nearby.
How much does it cost to convert a student ticket?

Upgrade is face value of student ticket. So ticket is $35, upgrade is $35. You'll pay $70 total. Per ticket
