We won't be as good at the QB position obviously, but we'll be better at damn near everything else.

A young man from Allen may very well outdo Johnny Manziel's HS stats. He's already ahead of Manziel's JUNIOR YEAR stats.

Manziels stats are so far ahead of everyone's stats ever they wont even tell you. For the love of god he sat out half of a game, then sat out the back half of a game. Dropped the most ever against the tide in its history.

anyone that doesn't understand that Sumlin can destroy the SEC recorded and is choosing not to is an idiot. Johnny can literally run the stats to he likeling. The word last year from this board was the SEC had the film now and he would be stopped. The truth is he can have his way with all of the SEC. He may not win, but if anyone gave him 3 D players they would wreck everyone.

Bottom line - this is the best QB to ever come along - ever. and everyone is having a hard time with that.

Sumlin could run his stats up so much farther thn anything the sec has eber seen but he is choosing not to. Give him some class. Bama knows this.

He let Ark off the hook for about 21 4th.

He is the best player. By a million miles.

I expect Allen to be good, but the law of averages will likely prevent us from fielding consecutive QBs who transcend the game.

But just because I believe we won't be as good at the QB position doesn't mean I don't think we'll be elite at it. JFF stands on his own level. Allen can be several notches beneath him and still be very, very good.

I think Kyler Murray will be a fantastic college prospect, but the difference between Murray's Allen team and Manziel's Kerrville-Tivy team is laughable at best.
