pretty dumb to make a statement like he did then turn around and lay a goose egg.
Yeah, because that was totally the plan.
Please, tell me what statement he made that he shouldn't have, and tell us what he should have said instead.

Just about anything other than what he did say.

A&M fans are sensitive as frick. Get the frick over it.

lol, you guys are the ones tripping over yourselves to explain away the fact that your qb put his foot in his mouth and couldn't back it up

OM shut themselves out, would've been 16-9 going into the 4th quarter if freeze would've kicked field goals.
So in turn, if aggie defense had 49 points dropped on them by bama and the ole miss d held bama to 23 points(excluding the safety) with the defense tired basically being on the field all day long, I see the aggie game being closer than you are pretending it will be.

Yall seem pretty defensive about the whole thing, tbh.

Pretty sure Ole Miss fans are the ones that are sensitive. QB talks shite lays a goose egg and fans are left backing his hollow words. If yall would just agree he talked a bigger game than he could back up nobody would care.

We're not trying to explain a fricking thing.
He was asked a question by the media as to whether or not he felt his team could score on Alabama. How should he have responded to that?

Alright talking out of his arse, is that better?

He expressed a very biased opinion. That's not talking out of one's arse.

I'm not sure I would characterize it as shite-talking; but I think folks are referring to this.
I know exactly what folks are referring to. You seem to agree with me though that it's not shite talking, and anybody who thinks it is has no idea what shite talking is (or they're a complete pussy).

I didn't think much of it. Period.
He should've chosen his words better. It happens. We're seeing the aftermath of that this morning.
Just out of curiosity, what is your definition of shite-talking?

shite talking would be something like Dan Mullen saying "we're never losing to this team again" after the 2009 Egg Bowl.
Bo Wallace answering a question asked of him by the media isn't shite talking. Well, if he had grabbed the microphone and said "BAMA'S GONNA LOSE" then, yeah, that'd be shite talking.

No, you don't say this either. Geez, you say"well we certainly feel we are capable but they present challenges. We must play our best, limit turnovers and make plays when they are there. This is a great challenge but we are confident and will definately be ready to play"
Not we are the greatest or our receivers suck. You can actually be in the middle somewhere and not give bulletin board material. Coaches do it all the time.
You know as well as I do that it may not have decided the outcome but it didn't hurt our attitude in preperation either. Thanks Bo.

He was asked how he felt about his offense against Bama. Answering that question, he said "we can score on anybody" (just because they didn't doesn't mean they can't - keep that in mind) and that he felt, in his opinion, that Ole Miss had better receivers than Texas A&M.
Seriously, that's what y'all are so up in arms over. It's not a big deal. It's not shite talking. It's not "shots fired" or anything like that.
