Two games this season have caused people to worry about our offense. We take full credit for frickin up the CSU game. Whether that be because of lack of motivation or whatever. After watching VT tonight, I am practically convinced that they genuinely whipped us up front. I know Marshall put up good numbers to the tune of 361 yards, however VT has held everyone else to 200 or less total yards. If you ask me, that was a hell of a defense Bama opened up the football season with.

I am using my CSU excuse still. Yeldon only had 7 carries all game. That will be his lowest amount of carries in a game for the rest of his career most likely.

I 100% agree with that. That and the fact we didnt have Cooper, Norwood, or Steen out there.

I am now kinda thinking that our defense is battle tested because of aTm and after facing a good to great VT defense, maybe our Offense isn't so bad either. If we put them together on the field Saturday, Ole Miss better watch it.

I kept on telling people that VT is going to be a good team this year. I guarantee they'll be ranked by the end of the season. And they will definitely do some damage in the ACC. Clemson, Miami and FSU better watch out.

Don't play Clemson or FSU either. They have a very easy schedule ahead of them

I don't think their offense is good enough to do much better than middle of the pack in the ACC. Their D is good though.

Virginia Tech is not a good team, but their defense is a quality unit. They might manage to win 8 or 9 games because of how pitiful their schedule is though. They get Pitt, UNC, Maryland, and Duke at home and avoid FSU and Clemson. Miami will probably kick their asses, but a trip to the Peach Bowl with a QB as terrible as Logan Thomas and WRs who can't catch a cold would be quite the achievement.

Whatever Scott Loeffler's game plan was tonight worked well. He let Logan get some comfy throws and they moved the ball quite well. I think their O is gonna come along.

If not for Coles dropping two crucial passes, this score might not have been this close.

Someone started talking about this on SEC Rant forum and somehow LSU makes this about them...

Will be the best defense we face all year most likely. That young cb Fueller (sp?) really impressed me.

The Fuller bros alone are a lot to handle. Looking back, I am proud of this team for putting up 14 offensive points against that defense the first game of the season.
