I posted this in another thread, but...

If I'm Summlin, I try to run the score up in the first half, and work on my run game in the second half. I do this if I have a comfortable lead, and I want to improve A&M for when JFF leaves. I don't do this if the game is close, or I want to move on to the NFL.

I guess my point is - is A&M worried they will cover the 14 point spread?

No, we win by at least 4 scores (no troll).

our run game doesn't really need help

we really don't run up the score. We have basically treated all our games except Bama as glorified scrimmages so far. Every single game that has gotten out of hand on Sumlin's watch we've turned it over to 2nd/3rd/4th stringers. I don't think you have to worry about Sumlin running it up. If it happens, it's more because you suck (like last year).

I'm not really but many people are very concerned with our defense. I just think you'll be forced to pass and it isn't your game so I'm not sure how you keep it close.
