Everyone here has his own personal bias against one team or another, as far as which program is the best in college football. But none of the talking heads, from SVP to everyone on ESPN's college football group to national sports journalists are saying that bama is the best job in college football. USC, UT, ND, O.State are all mentioned as being in the top 1 thru 5 jobs; none mention bama. bama is where it is now because of NS, remove him & the red elephants will still be good, but nowhere near as dominating as they are now. So, it's obvious NS makes it great, not the program itself. Just repeating what I am hearing all day long & not espousing any personal beliefs.

Agree... Bear Bryant would have had success at
other schools and ditto for Saban. Clemson's coach played for BAMA and would be someone
who could do well as Saban's successor.

As for Texas big wigs involvement in the football
program, what do you think Paul Jr. and the REC
were doing before Saban was hired? NS put a stop to that.+
