You know this totally politically correct culture has us all looking to get along, yet there is nothing wrong with being different. When I look at he political landscape I ask myself how in the world can both Democrats and Republicans be from the same country? I feel the same way about MSU and Ole Miss. Oh, LSU fans have no clue about an in-state rival so they really cannot relate, nor can Arkansas fans. But seriously are Auburn and Alabama fans the same? Isn't it true that any rivals from the same state are the same on some level? So what are we saying? I say that we need to understand what makes us different and appreciate those differences. Those differences are what make us hate each other. Don't rob us of our God given hate for one another. I love hating all of our SEC rivals, esp. State.

You shouldn't love to hate people.

I agree that there's nothing wrong with being different. I just think that the most significant difference between Ole Miss and MSU are the fact that they are different Universities with a few different areas of study - at least moreso than some kind of bright line division between a generalized version of the people who go to them. That shouldn't diminish the rivalry at all. And it isn't some PC way of saying we should all get along.
