Vegas Insider Betting Lines

Some sites don't have a line on it.

Arkansas

THERE IS NO CURRENT SPREAD ON THE A&M; AT ARKANSAS GAME
Those citing the three point spread all point to the VegasInsider page. The only problem? VegasInsider doesn't show any books - either in Vegas or offshore - accepting action on the game. In fact, no books are taking action on it.
If a point spread cannot be bet, then it does not exist. It has as much value as the hot sports takes you hear on your local sports radio station. Which is to say, none at all.

I have been telling you guys for about 5 years now to take the vegas insider lines with a grain of salt.

They are not and never have been a bettable line anywhere. They are simply a guess by a website. Nothing more, nothing less. Anyone of us here could start a website and post our guess, same exact thing.

Vegas Insider posts NCAAF lines mid afternoon on Sundays and have been doing it for about a decade (from what I recall). The first lines that get posted are the LVH in Nevada and the Greek in carribean. They have been the first lines up forever, usually around 5pm or so on Sunday. Those lines are usually capped as well.

The major casinos post their lines Monday from early morning (after midnight on Sunday) until about 9am est when all lines are generally up unless there is some unknown (like a possibly injured qb).

It has been this way for at least 13 years (since I started with offshore accounts and paying attention to how and when lines are set).
