Don't tell tmc. He clearly thinks Baggs and Honeycutt should keep their starting jobs.

when have I ever said that?

LB Darian Claiborne - came in on 3rd series at MLB (Baggs moved to WLB). Made a lot of tackles and overall did well but it was clear Baggs (who was poor) was giving him instructions before almost every play. Needs to learn the defense better and then he may be starting

Which is why neither Honeycutt or Baggs should be starting at their respective positions.

But when you show your ignorance and get called out on it, don't double down and bash someone else.

what does that have to do with anything? You called out players (incorrectly mind you) for specific plays. Instead of saying "yep, I don't know what I'm talking about", you instead call for their benching. My point was you are clearly not capable of making that sort of judgement. I did not say I agreed or disagreed with the statement.
You do it over and over and about every sport and game. All you do is post negatively. It's a big reason why I've chosen not to post more analysis here bc you can't help but chime in with ignorant comments. You calling me personally out in this thread is symptomatic of that.

Now we just need a competent safety to replace Honeycutt and we're on the right path.

Nothing better than a pointless argument to start a Saturday in football season.

Unfortunately I think this was going to be either Raven or Miles. Honeycutt was thrown into a tough situation.

I know everyone just wants to believe Raven is the answer but he hasn't shown anything to suggest that. He'd help with the one major issue we have at safety with range but he hasn't shown the ability to fill his assignment play after play (he played 3 plays and the play he got hurt on was a big play bc he didn't do his job).
I have no idea if Miles will be ready mentally. It's easy to say you know the defense but when you get out there you are bound to make mistakes. But he might be. I dunno. Another to keep an eye on is Ken Marshall who should be back soon. But if our linebackers don't start getting better drops it won't matter who is playing safety.

No, I think you were right.

Honeycutt just got his ring? Congrats?

This guy could be an All-American.

So Marshall was hurt and not kicked off with Richmond? That's good news.
I thought Miles was Big Safety, not Free Safety.

TMC94 - Keep posting brother...I like your thoughts...whether I (or anybody else) agrees with you is neither here nor there... you post well thought out opinions and I respect them.

Claiborne is going to big a big time player for us.

No sign of Honeycutt. Everett is serviceable at FS, but Jacobs and Harris need some work. Maybe we need to see more of Ellis, Garner, or Wiggins?
