silly LSU argument this off-season that Bama might win it again because they don't play anyone

Yes that's silly. Obviously to win the BCSCG you have to win the SECCG (usually ) and then the #2 team. So this original argument you're trying to counter was a stupid one to begin with.

But my point remains... if you're trying to compare your schedule with LSU's, you have to stop at the end of the regular season to compare the same amount of games.

Point is, for Bama to 3-peat they will have to win as many tough games as anyone. So the trashing of Bama's schedule this summer was rubbish, especially now that VT looks better than TCU and UF isn't even a top 15 team.

You are so stupid. The fricking point is that it's easier for Bama to get to the SECCG because their REGULAR season schedule is weak.

East Carolina has had a pretty good program the least few years under Holtz and others. East Carolina is better than anyone LSU has played to this point.

Not looking much weaker than LSU's now that we know TCU and UF suck, huh?

It's not a weak schedule, which is why you will lose 2 games.

How can anyone say that? TCU lost to Texas Tech who also has been a pretty decent program.

VT will finish 6th in the conference
OM will win 7 games (8 after bowl)
Not beating LSU so just stop
UGA not playing them because won't make it to SECCG
You'll play Louisville in the Sugar Bowl.

I'm countering the OP's point, but thanks.

And I already noted that the major difference is Georgia >> Kentucky. And time will tell if Florida really is better than Tennessee.

How about we all agree we don't know who the hell is better than who? You know, considering its 3 weeks into the season.

Bottom line is that Bama and LSU control their destiny and will most likely settle it in November.

Meh. My jimmies are somewhat rustled. I just try not to succumb to hyperbole, bias, and whining.

Are you saying the team is actually weaker than the schedule they are playing?
