I was at Jordan-Hare on Saturday, sitting in great seats among the Auburn faithful. State seemed to dominate the game, and I believed in my heart that State would bring it home. Up until the pass was completed in the end zone.

As I walked from the stadium to my car, I was so angry that I considered talking trash to the gathering of Sigma Nus that were singing "All I Do Is Win" on the porch of their house, so they would put me out of my misery. And that's when it hit me:

This was Auburn's Super Bowl.

Think about that. How many times, as a State fan, have you seen an opponent so excited to beat you that, after beating you, they celebrated like they just won the BCS? Not very often.

Of course, the game was easily winnable, and we should all be upset about losing this game. But remember this: The margin between winning and losing this game was very small. So small that it can be overcome with some tweaks, not fundamental changes.

So everyone calm down. Sure people will make fun of State on the Rant, and idiots like Clay Travis will rank Auburn five spots ahead of State, even though State only lost by four points on the road. But ask yourself this question: How differently would you feel if the last play of the game was an interception, rather than an Auburn TD?

I would still feel the same way about how our coaching staff plays not to lose in the second half. It's not some new thing.

I would've laughed in his face.

We have to play aggressively until we get a massive single digit lead. Then it's coasting time.

I hate Mullen. He has to upset somebody for me to stop hating him.

It seems like he's already upset a lot of people.
