A story will come out about it if so. Wonder what caused it. Couldn't just have been about the horns losing. Prayers

You don't know Texas fans very well.

It doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

ETA- when I was a kid, my cousin was a Texas frat boy, and at family vacations in Destin, he always had his frat boy friends with him, literally all they did was walk around looking for fights with people, got in fights every night.

One of my friends, only 14 years old at the time, almost got his arse kicked by one of them, 22 or 23 years old, on the beach in front of Jetty East, drunk, about to literally murder a 14 year old boy over nothing.

Texas students and fans are the worst in the country, worse than Florida.

I'm from Houston and know tons of Texas fans and none of them would nearly beat a kid to death just because of a lose. OBReb6 said he heard it happened Friday. Guess we'll find out soon enough.

Well that is pretty fricked up. Don't associate with people that would do that. My perception of Texas fans comes from my buddy's who are in school there now. Obviously they have some bad apples up in Austin.

Lots of tu people aren't that bad... their frat stars are some of the absolute worst. I know some, and I am good friends with people that were heavily involved with Greek life in Austin. The strolling around looking for fights attitude exists in a LOT of frats, even ones at Texas A&M... the ones in Austin though are a little worse. Given the city in, they really try to play up the conservative stereotype and shite. Just a general attitude of superiority.

It's funny you mention Destin because I grew up going to Seascape Resort and ironically, at the age of 14, my friend and I were asked to play a pick up basketball game by a group of 3 Texas "frat boys" in a jeep. It was at the basketball court by the tennis wall for anyone familiar with Seascape in Destin. My 13 year old best friend and I actually beat the Texas students in a pick up basketball game. Fortunately for us they didn't try to kick our a## afterwards.
