LOL @ all of these Alabama fans in here acting like Saban gives any sort of shite about loyalty. This is how it starts. "What? No way would he take that job, he loves it here", so on and so forth. ANY sort of trouble comes his way or the kind of money Texas has been rumored to throw at him, you better start getting ready to kiss his arse good bye. The last time Alabama gave up 40+ points was 2003, you don't think that'll be on his mind? He's a perfectionist and when the ship starts sinking, Ol' Saban is the first one jumping off.

Mrs Terry loves Tuscaloosa. That is all that matters.

Saban and the Apocalypse in Austin

What thread have you been reading? Where did any Alabama fans attribute any sense of loyalty to Saban? What...you think that just because we know the guy is happy and content that it means we think he's loyal? Are you really that fricking stupid? He's happy because Alabama makes sure he has what he wants and needs...mot just money, but power.
Saban is happy, and just importantly his wife is happy. He's a four hour drive from his lake house. He has absolute, total control over his program and has it clicking on all cylinders. And he's 61 years old. If you think that we believe that all of that translates into any sense of loyalty on his part, there's just no help for you.

ANY sort of trouble comes his way
He lost to La Monroe then he lost to Florida in the 2008 SEC championship only to be embarrassed by Utah in the Sugar- followed that up with a BCS Natty the following year by destroying Tebow/Myer in a revenge match and then giving Bama it's first ever victory over the Texas Longhorns in the Rose Bowl.
He lost to A&M last year. Not this time around.

2 years ago after Bama beat LSU in NO for the Natty, Texas made a BIG run at him. You see how that ended, right? Another Natty for Bama the following year embarassing Notre Dame in Miami.

Let's not forget people have been saying ever since Saban arrived in T-town he wouldn't be here but a few years. Never been anywhere longer than 5, that is until last year where it was his 6th at Bama. Oh and this one which is his 7th.
One day Saban will be gone and the haters can rejoice but as a Bama fan I'm riding this damn wave and loving every minute of it particularly when jealous envious haters cannot stand the ride Bama is on.
