LINKGoing to be a first class facility, coupled with the training and weightroom renovations that will begin in Nov. VU's team facilities will finally be at an SEC level. The stadium is a whole other issue and one that the AD is exploring at the moment.

That is weird.
But this is very nice for Vanderbilt. I don't know if this was already in the works before Franklin, but that has been a dynamite hire for Vanderbilt regardless. I know he can be a douche, but what he is doing at Vanderbilt is remarkable.

It was on the docket to be done by 2015 but in Franklin's new contract after 2011 it was added/bumped up as a part of the deal.

There is going to be a 300m indoor track that surrounds the football field that VU's cross country and track teams will also have access to. Plans to host HS meets in the facility as well.

Haha, thought about making a UGA IPF joke but after that a**whipping in Athens last year I decided better of it. Hope the game in Nashville this year is as good as the 2011 game was.

Does it come with latch free rape rooms? Just curious. Wouldn't any players injuring themselves with pesky locks.
