I don't see him doing much on Saturday but it'll be good to have him back on the team.

Roger May (VU alum) is his attorney but it mentions a defense team. Who else is on this team because about 80% of Mays work is DUI type cases.

Now that our game is behind us, I hope the kid gets back on the field. I think he's involved on trumped up charges.

Timing is always an interesting thing.

If he comes out clean it makes having to sit out some big games a big deal.

I'm not sure what difference he would have made in our game. We didn't stop them from throwing to ANY of their receivers, so it didn't really matter who was out there.

frick our secondary blows.

I'm always down for a good riot but considering how little media attention this has gotten I doubt half the fans in the stadium would have heard about Vandy being a team filled with rapists-let alone Chris Boyd being one of them.

Kid is a freaking eagle scout.

The rapist send him lurid sex pictures to which he said dont ever send me shite like that again and deleted the pics.

The crime here is what again? Like in Camus "the stranger", you have a DA running for office and wanted publicity.

Kid should have never been charged with anything, unless I am missing something.

Boyd has plead charges down to attempted accessory after the fact, a misdemeanor. 11 months, 29 days probation.

Vanderbilt vice chancellor for public affairs Beth Fortune issued the follow statement regarding the status and potential reinstatement of wide receiver Chris Boyd on Friday morning:

“Chris Boyd will remain suspended from the Vanderbilt University football team, pending further review by the university. We have no further comment on the matter at this time.”

There's the answer for the game tomorrow night.

YOu need more than one person to qualify as a riot. In Columbia rioting by yourself you'd be just a dumb arse. How about you start a riot to send Deke Adams back to the AcC.

There's no way he's coming back to the team after what came out today.

If what did come out is true, ACS is about to be in some serious shite too and deservedly so. Losing your stud WR and TE and possibly your QB, damn

You are

quote:

Thurman said one of the four accused ex-players, Brandon Vandenburg, was asking Boyd for help on the night of the incident, and that at one point Vandenburg advised Boyd to delete the video he had sent.

He said Boyd and Vanderbilt quarterback Austyn Carta Samuels helped move the alleged victim.

Thurman said Boyd and Vandenburg also had a discussion, via text messages, about whether the unconscious woman would remember anything about what happened.

Boyd later met with some of the players at a Popeye’s restaurant to discuss what had happened.
