I don't think Alabama has a reason to be scared. Maybe LSU will put up more than 9 in BDS this time but Alabama is still #1 for a reason. LSU can win out, but people are judging Bama too much based on their performance in one game, and they still put up 35. I like where LSU's offense is headed, and I will be more confident in it if they put up more than 12 against Auburn in their first conference game. Playing the SEC is not easy, and I hope they stay healthy. That's the key.

No fear here. My point was simply that LSU fans shouldn't read too much into two games. Yes, LSU's offense looked sharper than it has in quite some time, but they looked good against TCU (who gave up 17 points and over 300 yards to a 1AA school) and UAB (who gave up just under 500 yards to Troy). It isn't so much that anyone thinks that LSU's offense really sucks, so much that we haven't really seen anything to prove that it REALLY is good, not just yet.

It's not fair to LSU - TCU's defense is supposed to be good. If it turns out it sucks, then they won't face a decent defensive opponent until October 12th.

On a side note, did you know tickets to your Kent State game can still be purchased, for only $9?
