... had to get across the river before we've gotten our first decent-enough signal to pull-up the board.

Damn that game sucked. Heard something on Georgia radio as we were leaving Athens about two of our coaches throwing punches at one another? WTF?

Clowney did not look good from where we were sitting. Something seems wrong with him physically IMHO. He was limping of course, but there is clearly something wrong with him. I'm not convinced it is about conditioning either. I was watching him one time on the sidelines and his body language is off - he's struggling for some reason.

Anyways, for what it is worth UGA fans were gracious after the game when we were walking back to the car. Saying things about how tough Shaw is and how good Davis looked, etc. Said they are already anxious about coming to Columbia next year and such.

Looked like we got beat by their OLine today. Plus the fumble by Shaw hurt bad and the missed extra point ... was that a bumbled set up by Fish or just a bad kick? Hard to tell from where we were sitting.

We'd better regroup in a hurry. Any post game news that we missed? We're almost to exit 18 but jonesing for news from the post game presser and what Spurrier had to say.

One last thing. Heard some of our fellow fans talking on the way out of the parking lot ... we all hated losing but if we only lose one this year let it be to UGA. Makes sense the more I think about it. And gotta give credit to Turkey and Murray - they got the job done tonight whereas Shaw and Clowney did not.

Deke and Botkins, yes. Quick confrontation, mixed reactions about it so far from our fans.

yep, low snap, Fish tried to salvage it, got it up but I guess Fry's timing was messed up by it

basically Clowney gave props to georgia, smiled when people brought up his Murray comments

Spurrier also gave credit, said they kicked our tails. Also says we might be expecting too much from our young D and will change things up, will give suggestions to Ward this week.

that's about all

no punches were thrown but Adams and Botkins had a passionate discussion about something after a 3 and out. Go figure.

Spurrier said the 4th and goal debacle was his fault and a dumb call. Also said they whipped us and Vince Dooley is probably smiling right now.

Ward said there are other players on defense besides Clowney that need to step up. Spurrier said something about asking too much from the young dbs.

No elaboration on what Adams and Botkin argued about but Spurrier said "at least they care"

Thanks Men.

Damn, had no idea so much drama was happening on the sidelines last night.

Hate we lost - I guess we'll see what we're made of from here on out.

We dropped two TD passes as far as I could tell too. One looked like Whiteside and the other by Anderson.

I bet the argument was something about the LB not giving enough support for the run. The sideline reporter mentioned something about a disagreement about what each was saying in their huddles (at least I think I heard that...). I don't like the fighting between the coaches as it shows that they just aren't on the same page, which is troubling for guys who should be working as a unit.

I definitely thought going into the season this was a game that we could lose and still make Atlanta (even joking a couple of times about pulling a "Georgia" to see how they respond to our situation the last two years), but after last weeks UGA/Clemson game I got my hopes up and now feel a bit dejected. It's just an emotional response, and I think this team can definitely rebound and learn from the game.

The defense has got to come together for us to run the table, though. The offense showed that it can move the ball when given the opportunity, but the defense is not cohesive enough, yet.

I'm still optimistic about the rest of the season, but think we have to show improvement next week against Vandy.

I sort of feel that way as well. It was a tough ride home thinking about all of the missed opportunities ... then I got to thinking about the breaks we did get and how we capitalized on them.

The fumble by Shaw hurt ... but the kid still played his heart out. He was in his zone throwing the ball yesterday. He bailed us out on a couple of high snaps too. Ran the ball well too. If not for that fumble, the way we were moving the ball, I think we score and it is a different ending.

There were two passes dropped in the end zone, one by Whiteside and one by Anderson I think it was. Can't remember if it was on the same series, the same drive, or not?

Bottom line is that we could not stop them. You score 30 points and you are supposed to win. Gotta give their offense a ton of credit ... along with their home crowd.

I was surprised by the crowd yesterday. Stayed loud the whole time.

This is how I feel as well.

Our O-line played well and gave Shaw plenty of time to throw, but he still has the problem of only looking at one receiver. If it's not there, he bolts. However, he had some beautiful TD passes and played well enough for us to win. And Davis was impressive again.

That game sucked. Our costly mistakes were frustrating as hell to watch when we had momentum. Shaw's fumble, Bruce losing the football in the sun to only drop in front of him, missed extra point, the 4th and Goal Shotgun call??? I mean what the frick, why the hell did we line up in the SHOTGUN on the 1 yard line? Davis or Wilds would have easily ran the ball in behind our O-line. And after that dumbass call, UGA scores an 85 yard TD from blown coverage. The feeling while watching that shite play out was terrible.

I'm mainly disappointed in our defense, though. If we score 30, then we should win with the defense that I thought we had. I give all the credit to UGA's offense cause we all knew it was elite. Gurley is obviously a beast and Murray played exceptionally well while not turning the ball over like he has in the past. Our defense was supposed to be one of the best in the SEC and manhandle UGA's O-line. They damn sure haven't played like one of the best. I guess I had my expectations too high going into this season for them.

I still think we can rebound from this and make it to Atlanta. This game was the one to lose this year if we were going to drop a game. Our defense has GOT to play better, though.

End rant. Now it's time to watch the Panthers. Good thing I have plenty of beer.

Yep, that's what I thought as well. Too many play calling mistakes.
