This game is going to suck I am afraid. From what I have seen this team is hit or miss against horrible/mediocre opponents, don't get me wrong I didn't expect much from this year, but Worley is not looking like a long term QB at this point.

Exactly ^

How are you going to call what is or isn't supposed to be off of the first 2 games of the season?

I'm watching them play Virginia right now.

I think our DL will be able to put pressure on their QB. Their OL doesn't look all that impressive.

They do play at warp speed, and that will be a major problem for UT.

Oregon will win and they might win it all this year. Sucks to be humiliated by left-coast liberal hippies. I want to get them back when UT is back at full strength.

There was so much open room for WKU's QB to take off running, and run big, on many plays that he didn't take advantage of. Mariotta is going to and it will be ugly.

If you're talking about tempo, it'll be frustrating but we've been practicing against really fast tempo the entire offseason. It won't have as much of an effect as it did in 2010.

If you're talking about the speed of the players themselves, yeah that's a problem.

I'm fired up, I don't think we go to Autzen and shock the world, but we're going to come to play. We finally got a guy that demands intensity I just want to see growth, optimism, and a winning attitude every week and I'll be happy despite the W/L column as long as they're improving.

If Worley can pull a major rabbit out of his arse and start to lead receivers to make some YAC that helps the run game. That front 7 can put some pressure on the QB and limit the amount of big plays from flash gordon bouncing it outside, this game doesn't get away from us too bad. I liked watching those guys trying to strip the ball every single play against WKU, that's going to have to happen against Oregon and cause some turn overs

Someone on Volnation just asked if Rommell was going to be in Oregon and will we finally find him?

You ain't lying. I sometimes check recruiting and stuff there...was looking up something last night and stumbled into a few threads. Sweet Jesus there are some idiots there. It almost makes me feel bad for the handful of good posters.

As for the game, this one will end up looking ugly. If the UT defense was deeper and could prevent the big play, then this would have potential to be a pretty good game imo.

I'm all about optimism, but then realism kicks in when you see a 25.5 point spread. I think we can hang for a little bit, but their speed will be a big factor and I just don't see Worley being a game changer... hope I'm wrong.

This loss won't have anything to with Worley. Our defense doesn't have the speed to contain their QB, WRs, and especially RBs. We may score 30 points but we'll still lose by 2-3 TD's

You can't rely on it for anything other than humor and the occasional tidbit of injury news/stats , that's it

A lot about this game depends on being able to get to the RB when he bounces it outside and checking Mariota. UVA shut down the interior run against UO for the most part and I think we can do the same from how their Oline and our DLine stack up.

I'm not optimistic about the W, but I am about the spread if it's 25.5 points. I think we surprise some people. Not with a W but the overall performance

The humor in the recruiting forum is often so corny that I have to stop reading.
