I think we can. You once had a fan that took a loss so badly that he put a loaded gun up to his son's head and pulled the trigger. Until I hear of something even remotely similar, it's a pretty easy argument that you have the trashiest fans. Not really alumni, but certainly fans, many of which have never stepped foot in Tuscaloosa.

How about definitely not alumni. Alabama graduates which make up a large portion of the fanbase are no different than any other alumni base in the SEC. Alabama just gets all the hanger on bandwagon fans from the state of Alabama and surrounding states that have no connection to a college. It's similar to many people who have absolutely no connection to New York being Yankees fans or people that aren't from Texas being Cowboys fans. These teams have such huge fanbases that they by default have a lot of trashy fans as well.
