I've seen as many National Championships that UK has won in my lifetime as UofL has in their history. I'd hope we've been integrated since the 80s.

And for the OP, while Louisville's athletic department is on the rise they have quite a ways to go. If I recall correctly they only have 2-3 NCAA championships in their whole athletic department. We have 10 (not counting Helms Titles like UNC does).

I will say that UofL is moving forward on multiple fronts and in multiple sports.

Will it continue long enough to change the school into a perennial athletic powerhouse like Ohio St. or LSU, is the real question.

The move to the ACC will help in the long run even if the teams records take a hit during the transition.

In all honesty I don't care about UK. The teams aren't even in the same conference and the games rarely count for anything more than bragging rights... 2011 being an obvious exception.
