JM's actions during the Rice game, taken separately, were not a big deal. Happens all the time in every college & pro football game nowadays, sad to say. But when you put them in context with all the other shite he brought on himself, with his getting a get out of jail free card only the wk before, he should have walked on that field, played the way he's famous for playing, and STFU. Instead, all he did by those acts was to feed the fire. Which speaks to his arrogance & selfishness. Support him as a fellow aggie? Mabe. But to give him a standing ovation when he entered the game? Sorry, I don't understand that.

Confused by a standing ovation when he enters the game?

First game on campus after winning the Heisman trophy? Check.

First game of the season after the kid gets pounded in the media all summer? Check.

You may prefer the fans to turn their back on their hero, but that is not reality. They might get annoyed by some behavior, but unless he committed some heinous crime, most fans are going to support their guy through criticism.

Not difficult to understand if you look at it objectively.

And there it is again.
Please cite the "shite."
