They left it all out there, they didn't hold anything back, and from what I saw, they aren't near out level. That defense belongs in the Big12.

I'm not gonna go that far. I mean, they're D is young and had to play a legit Clemson offense AT Clemson. They'll be pissed next week and ready to redeem themselves in front of their own fans. It was a good learning experience for them.

And Gurley scares the shite outta me. But, at least they have Murray.

The absolute worst thing that can happen to us this season is already half accomplished: Clemson beats UGa, then we lose to UGa. The shite talking would be unbearable. But I'm really confident we beat Clemson this year at the Brice. shite, we better, we're the only other team standing between them and the BCSNCG.

This. It will by no means be an easy game. I expect us to win but it will be close.

Clemson's offense is no more legit than it was last year when we beat them (probably a little worse without their best lineman, RB and WR gone to the NFL) AT Clemson without Shaw or Lattimore. Georgia was returning everyone on Offense from last year, for the most part, and they looked very suspect. Their Defense was full of holes. They are talented, but very raw.

And as for them being pissed and ready for us... this is one of the reasons I'm not totally against the "Out of shape Clowney" shitstorm. Clowney is going to be pissed by next Saturday as well... And that Uga line looked very, very suspect.

Clemson averaged 44 points against ACC competition last year but only 22 points against the 3 SEC teams they played. They were on fire tonight and actually I'm not sure how Georgia kept it so close. I guess Gurley was trying to win the game by himself.

We need injury updates from tonight. Quite a few UGa players got hurt it seemed.

Yeah, uga player or tater or whatever, I really didn't like their fans booing the injured guys, that's classless.

Mitchell will not play against us.

Guys who will be on the "injury report" and have limited practice reps will be, IMO:

Gurley,
Marshall
Hicks,
Herrera
Jay Rome
Jordan Jenkins
Ramik Wilson

I expect all of them to play next week though, but they may miss a little practice time or be limited. Those are just the guys I saw get hurt, and then heard the fans boo, so it wasn't just like clemson was boo'ing once or twice.

Was he the one that tore his ACL last year the week before playing us? What happened to him tonight and how do you know he won't play next week?

I believe that was Michael Bennett. Mitchell has been moved around from DB to WR, and he was going to be the go-to WR this year. He hurt his knee early in tonights game. I don't think it was a "rest a couple of days" injury. This will probably keep him out for at least our game, but I hope he recovers well and soon.

This was funny, it's a tater filming the entrance to last night's game, skip to 3:10 and watch what unfolds... The rest is garbage, don't waste your time.

"Chew Can't Do That!! You Can't Do That!!" (Violently shakes.)

I was not impressed with them last night. Murray gonna Murray. He has not gotten any better at playing big games. Their defense is soft like we thought it would be.

Gurley is a beast, but I think our D will be able to limit him again like last year.

has Clemson Tom or savagetiger made a video proclaiming their greatness yet?

UGA let all of us down last night. now we have to hear the Clemson trash until we can shut them up again like the past 4 years.

Well it is in Athens and Murray does play a lot better at home, its just that a lot of UGa's 'big games' haven't been at home the last couple of years. I could see this game being a lot like 2011.

Would you (or anyone that feels a win is certain next week) feel differently if UGa had won that game last night? If it weren't for a poor snap for the field goal, they would have been tied with 1 minute to go and most likely would've gone into overtime.

UGA's secondary actually did pretty well for what they had to deal with and they get some starters back. They knocked down more than a couple balls that would've/should've been caught.

I think we'll be in a dog fight, they'll come out with the crowd hungry and pissed off. If Richt watched any of our game vs UNC he'll recognize all he needs to do is speed up the offense a little. UGA doesn't have to huddle.

It will be a dogfight unless we can jump on them early like last year.

It being in Athens scares the shite out of me, and Gurley is a monster. With that said, I'm more confident than I was before, as I'm sure most are.

If they would've beat clemson by 2 scores, I would be more concerned. However, what I saw is that their defense this year isn't good. We're going to move the chains.

I don't think we'll blow them out by 5 TD's, like we did last year. Although I think we'll win by 2+ scores.

They don't typically practice the HUNH style, and they won't (and wouldn't be able to) switch to that style in a week of practice time. They'll put a lot of emphasis on their run game, just like us, so our LB's will need to step up.

I knew we could beat them after the first half. It's their O-Line. Returning all their starters was supposed to be a strength of that Offense. That is not the case. Gurley was great on a couple of runs, but I know we have a better defense than Clemson, so controlling his output is very doable as well.

As for their defense they were being gashed by that Clemson backfield, what do you think Davis/Wilds are going to do to them? I think we'll come out and pound the ball early to set up the play action and then go to town.

It being in Athens (coming off a loss) will definitely give them something to prove and add fire to that crowd. I just don't think that it can be sustained after they get down early, which I believe is going to be the case.

Honestly, nothing either team showed me last night has changed my belief that we win both games...

I believe we match-up with them very well.

It's still going to be a slobber knocker.

I'm not counting my baby Gamecocks until they are hatched. UGA is going to try our LBs big time.

Our defense didn't play as bad as people think Langley actually did a great job on Watkins. Our offense and special teams screwed us.
